On September 10th, was the last day of the Andy Warhol exhibit at the High Museum. Warhol was a controversial artist who was one of the leading figures in the pop art scene many years ago. Andy Warhol is one of my favorite artists and I was so excited to see his work.
What’s an easy way to transition into Fall season…wear thigh-high boots, dark wash denim jeans, simple top and a silk scarf. It’s a simple look to pull off. I decided to go for denim on denim with my favorite boots and cheetah print scarf. Sunday morning, I went out on a breakfast date with my boyfriend, and he took me to Highland Bakery on Peachtree. It was a nice way to start our day before heading to the High Museum. At the Highland Bakery located in Midtown Atlanta, I had half of portion of French Toast with French cream and brown sugar butter topped with strawberries and blueberries. I was feeling a little bold a tried Tofu Scramble, which was seasoned tofu sauteed in soy sauce with zucchini, squash, red peppers, mushrooms and had some delicious creamy grits on the side. Overall, I was satisfied with the food and can’t wait to go back again.

This summer, I’m into wearing off-the-shoulder tops and anything with stripes, and high-waisted jeans to show off my little curves. Recently, I bought this off-the-shoulder top from the Banana Republic. I think it’s fun and flirty. You can easily pair this top with linen pants, white shorts, or a sleek blue-jean skirt. I have a feeling that I’m going to wear this top all the time.

In between goals and being completely indecisive about going back to school, I’ve been doing my best to enjoy simple pleasures.

The first week of April, My mother and I traveled to Nassau, the Bahamas on the Carnival “Victory” cruise. It was a fun experience. By the way, Atlantis Paradise Island Resort is beyond gorgeous!
On April 8th, I attended JoJo’s sold out concert at the Buckhead Theatre. I went by myself and enjoyed every minute of it.
Later in May, my brother, who currently lives in NYC, came to Atlanta for a couple of days. We ended up at Little 5 Points to hang out.
I’m such a beach babe at heart.
During Mother’s Day weekend, I headed out to Pensacola, Florida. I mainly went to surprise my Grandma, who I haven’t seen in some time. While I was there, I celebrated Mother’s Day at Pensacola beach and relaxed all day in the hot sun and cool breeze.
